Trailer: designed for use with glen-l series 650 boat trailer plans. the squirt is a small runabout for the young at heart. but don't let her size fool you; she offers a lot in her short length.. Boat builder terry mcintyre discusses building his glen-l "squirt" runabout. terry lengthened this design and changed the power to jet instead of outboard. this is the third glen-l design that he. The overall drive train length is 57 inches - too long to put in the boat without lengthening it outside of the glen-l recommended range. for this reason i decided to mount the pump on a bracket outside the transom. this allows me to lengthen the boat to 11'-6", and keep everything aft of frame #1..
